Job Title: Cable Engineer

Job Purpose: Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, or domestic purposes. Proficient in estimating labor, material, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes.

Job Description:

Develop and implement product documentation/process instructions required for Cable / harness assembly in a fast pace environment. Develop Manufacturing Process Instructions with sufficient details to support repeatable and consistent manufacturing process. Supervise and train personnel responsible for cable / harness assembly. Coordinate DOEs, PFMEAs , time studies, and written reports.

Must be detail oriented, team player, flexible and self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. Able to find ways to improve ongoing projects and have effective verbal and written communication skills in interacting with team members. The ideal candidate must possess ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a demanding environment, demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interface with the quality organization, to ensure that customer requirements are implemented and met. Configure BOM's/routings in accordance with the product structure, develop validation protocols for IQ/OQ/PQ, execute protocols, and submit reports through the ECO Agile system. Provide DFA/DFM feedback to customers.

Education and Experience:

* BS Degree in Engineering discipline with minimum 3 years experience supporting PCBAs processes and system integration or equivalent
* The position requires working knowledge of AutoCad, SolidWorks .
* Knowledge of PCBAs process is a plus
* Familiar with Lean initiative. Lean Six Sigma certification and/or training desired.
