The Partner Technology Strategy team is newly established function chartered with creating the vision, strategy, and design requirements for Salesforces partner technology and partner community. Working in close collaboration with our Business Technology and Partner Enablement Technology teams, this group will help to shape and create the underlying technologies that power the mission critical activities of Salesforces partner ecosystem.

As an Analyst/Sr. Analyst on this team, you will be responsible for helping to shape and define the partner technology roadmap over the next several years. Working in a team of 3, you will leverage insight derived from internal and external stakeholder groups, coupled with a deep understanding the business models of Consulting, ISV, and Reseller partners and how each go to market, to outline the areas that require the most critical need for technology augmentation to further Salesforces ecosystem growth.

Spanning both business oriented and technical responsibilities, candidates will need to be able to strike the right balance between crafting and articulating a cohesive business plan for investment with the outlining of detailed sets of business requirements. They will be responsible for socializing and aligning cross-functional teams around their approach in addition to sharing progress updates to executives and other internal stakeholders. As a product, project, and budget manager, this individual will need to be detail oriented, process driven, and well-organized to drive a large number of concurrent work streams.

Success in this position requires an ability to understand at a macro-level the current infrastructure supporting our partners, while being able to quickly pivot to narrow in to identify gaps and build processes. Partner Technology Strategy will work closely with multiple teams, leveraging understanding of Marketing, Go-to-Market, Enablement, and Operations to identify and unify common components across all of these areas for our partners.

The successful candidate will have an innovator's mindset, with a strong aptitude for understanding the big picture and translating it into tactical action. Moreover, he/she will excel at developing recommendations to address business issues while garnering the support to execute. Ideally, this person will have worked at a top-tier management consultancy or internal strategy role and/or has some product manager experience. They will also feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis and are effective at translating complex projects into a clear set of milestones and deliverables. This role also requires a passion for technology and a strong desire to build tools and resources that drive partner success



Responsibilities

* Crafting the vision for partner technologies
* Outlining key moments in the partner lifecycle that require technology augmentation
* Effectively prioritizing critical technology needs by rationalizing them against stakeholder feedback and the broader vision
* Managing several discrete but related projects along with any associated dependencies
* Budget and resource planning and management
* Executive communications and read outs
* Communication strategy to partners around the technology roadmap



Target Skills/Experience

* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a portfolio of assignments while driving complex strategic projects to completion with minimal supervision
* Demonstrated cross-functional communication and relationship building skills with senior leadership
* High EQ and IQ and the ability to collaborate with multiple parties to drive a positive outcome
* A bias towards a challenge, and high level of comfort with assignments where the right path is not always clearly defined
* Solution oriented, learning mindset
* Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to convey complex ideas in a strategic and concise fashion
* 3-5+ years work experience in management consulting, internal strategy, or product management
* On the ground experience with enterprise SaaS (preferred) or high tech
* Undergraduate degree in an analytical field such as business, computer science, economics, etc.
