Our Role:
The role sits within the Product Strategy function and will report to the Head of Product Strategy. The VP of Marketing and Communications will lead a small team of marketing professionals and drive the business strategy through the development and execution of global strategic marketing and communications initiatives.
She/he will collaborate with Distribution, Product, Portfolio Management, PGIM marketing and PGIM affiliates to strategically deploy content across communication channels driving differentiated user experience and a deeper level of engagement with target audiences. This strategic role requires a broadly skilled executive with a deep understanding of the asset management industry and leading-edge marketing capabilities, including a holistic approach to integrating digital, mobile, social, data and customer experience into strategies and actions. She/he will contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ability to manage and lead a small cohesive team of marketing professionals focused on building PGIM Fixed Income into a widely regarded brand.
* Development and implementation of a global strategic marketing plan.
* Oversight and responsibility for all marketing content across multiple mediums including web, webinars, podcasts, social media, earned media and paid advertising.
* Responsible for establishing a cadence of thought leadership across multiple mediums to keep the PGIM Fixed Income brand front and center with our clients and prospects
* Oversight and management of an annual global media plan including conferences and its implementation.
* Oversight of external vendors
* Partner with Corporate Communications, Advertising and Media Relations to drive and support the businesss brand management and digital marketing.
* Drive business process improvements and enhanced efficiencies in Marketing, including implementation of new technology capabilities.
* Develop processes, governance and tools used to evaluate the effectiveness and value of marketing programs.
* Partner with key stakeholders including Sales/Distribution, Portfolio Management, Credit Research, Product, PGIM Affiliates, Corporate Communications, and Legal/Compliance, cultivating productive relationships and executing on business priorities.
* Be at the forefront of marketing innovation and take advantage of emerging opportunities to ensure PGIM Fixed Income remains competitive
Required Skills:
* Minimum of Bachelor / College degree
* Minimum of 10 years marketing experience in a senior capacity in asset management and strong knowledge of fixed income preferred
* Track record in leading teams, hiring, developing, and retaining strong and diverse talent.
* Thought leader in marketing function with demonstrated track record in strategic marketing, successfully implementing both traditional and digital strategies, forward-looking in emerging areas of digital, data and analytics.
* A proven track record in complex organizations and comfortable working in collaborative, matrixed organizations.
* Strong presentation and communication skills: a proven ability to persuade and sell strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
* Strong writing and editing skills across multiple mediums including advertisements, web, brochures, presentations, and organizational updates.
* Ability to transform strategy into action and drive results.
