Prudentials Workplace Solutions Group (WSG), which comprises Prudentials Retirement and Group Insurance businesses serving over 23 million customers, is seeking a highly motivated, process improvement oriented, and results driven FP&A Manager to lead the cost management consolidation process in support our Group Insurance business. The WSG Cost Optimization & Performance Measurement team is responsible for planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and business measurement for the Workplace Solution Group segment.
The Associate Manager, Expense Planning & Analysis, position is responsible for financial and advisory support for Group Insurance initiatives, including business case development, tracking financial results and quarterly projections. As part of the Enterprise Transformation, the Group Insurance business has numerous initiatives underway, directly supported by this position, offering a unique view of the business.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Provide financial and advisory support to Business leaders and contacts on proposed (and refreshed) initiative business cases for Group Insurance
* Understand key business drivers, how they are impacted by Business cases and make recommendations accordingly
* Challenge business-prepared business cases to ensure assumptions are solid, business changes and impacts are easy to understand to enable the Segment leaders to make informed decisions on investments and expected results.
* Support business case modeling for the Group Insurance Fuel the Future initiative.
* Assist in establishing quarterly reporting process for Full Potential Initiatives to support Enterprise reporting requirements.
* Coordinate across Business Partner support team to ensure the multi-year forecasts reflect commitments made within approved business cases.
* Develop Business, US Business, and Corporate required financial updates to communicate Group Insurance Initiative costs, benefits, and net AOI impacts.
* Implement standardized reporting and best practices across WSG businesses for the initiative portfolios.
* Support special projects or ad-hoc analysis
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
* Advanced degree, MBA or CPA preferred
* Anaplan experience a plus
* Discretion to deal with confidential information
* Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to problem solve.
* Customer focused with strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate financial results.
* Demonstrated ability to thoughtfully analyze data, assess and challenge results
