Were actively seeking a talented Financial Reporting Consultant to join our Financial Reporting and Analysis team. This role can be on-site or 100% remote.

How you will make an impact:

* Corporate Division Performance Reporting
* Development of the annual plan model for the Corporate Surplus Investment Portfolio including coordination with the portfolio manager in key inputs and assumptions, development of key capital markets driver analysis for plan variances for presentation to FP&A and Company Management. Also, includes execution of the plan model under various economic scenarios and sensitivity analysis based on shocks for various inputs
* Quarterly reporting of actual to plan variance analysis including development of presentation materials for Senior Management on the portfolio performance and allocation of the performance based on key capital markets drivers. Includes quarterly presentation to Corporate Division management of the results
* Quarterly reporting for the Investment Management function for the internal investment management fees charged to the divisions. Includes development of the annual plan for the Investment Management function of the divisional charges
* On an annual basis, develop the expense budget for the Corporate Reporting cost center and quarterly reporting to the Controllership cost centers including explanations for actual to budget variances
* Perform initial review of various annual plan and variance analysis deliverables
* Lead the coordination and preparation of a quarterly and year-end enterprise wide U.S. GAAP results package
* Analysis of actual to prior period results with variance explanations
* Key driver analysis for quarterly and annual Company results and documentation of drivers of each operating segments performance in the form of managements discussion and analysis
* Work with business partners across the enterprise to understand key drivers at both an operating segment and consolidated level
* Provide ad hoc support for U.S. GAAP and subsidiary reporting
* Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP requirements for the preparation of various financial statements
* Technical accounting, policy, and reporting inquiries
* Review annual subsidiary financial statements
* Lead the implementation of reporting system enhancements, including automation efforts
* Coordinate with Corporate finance team, operational finance teams and external auditors regarding required financial reporting related deliverables

The experience you will bring:

5 - 7+ years of experience
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Public accounting experience and CPA license are preferred

Experience with debt offerings, IPOs and/or special transaction preferred

Investment Accounting experience preferred

Statutory accounting experience a plus
