Job Description:Barrons is seeking an art director with experience in financial or business media to help us build our fast-growing Barrons Advisor channel. This design professional will have a broad remit, including print and digital design as well as photo editing. The successful candidate will work closely with the writers and editors of Barrons Advisor to help conceive ideas for informational graphics to bolster content about wealth management and personal finance for an audience of financial professionals. The art director will also help design content based on proprietary rankings of the top financial advisors, and also help foster and grow engagement with the Barrons Advisor community. The job may also include working with our best-in-class conference team to design print and digital content for our live journalism business. Perhaps most important: We need a problem solver who can take on any task and come up with a creative solution. If you have ever said we cant do that, this probably isnt the job for you.Qualifications:

* The successful candidate will be highly creative, innovative, self-motivated yet team-oriented, and able to handle creative pressures under daily deadlines in developing compelling, sophisticated visuals that both complement and enhance the editorial content.
* Experience in both print and digital design is mandatory.

* Must be fluent in Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.

* A plus: HTML/Wordpress a plus, knowledge of stock photography agencies, and color correction skills.
