The Director of Talent Management role is a key property leadership position that is responsible for the Human Resource function at one of our iconic properties. PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Director of Talent Management is responsible for driving execution on Human Resources initiatives and priorities identified by the Human Resource Center of Excellence (CoE) and Corporate HR VP. This position is accountable for meeting or exceeding the HR KPIs established for the Property in the areas of talent acquisition, onboarding, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. This position leads the execution of comprehensive strategies, initiatives, action plans, and processes to improve critical organizational performance in the areas of Employee Engagement and Guest Service. This position serves as a member of the Executive/Operating Committee to establish short and long-term vision and goals for the assigned property/corporate division.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Partner with leadership, and leverage Human Resource Center of Excellence processes and tools, to identify gaps in leadership talent and performance. Identify, develop, and implement action plans to meet or exceed HR KPIs in the areas of recruiting, onboarding, talent management, and organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
* Lead the implementation of Company-wide talent management initiatives at the property, in close collaboration with HR Vice Presidents, and the property president.
* Implement employee surveys, leadership skip-level meetings, and employee focus group meetings to conduct regular organizational health assessments. Working closely with property/corporate leadership to identify, develop and implement action plans to address employee feedback.
* Maintain, analyze, and report to the business on key human resources and talent metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and action plans to improve performance. Regularly review SLAs and KPIs to ensure HR CoE Partners are meeting or exceeding commitments.
* Leverage HR CoE process and tools to develop and implement effective change management plans to support operational leaders in implementing organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Works to develop the knowledge and acumen for talent management across all leaders in the organization.
* Perform other job-related duties as requested.

REQUIRED:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* At least 7 years of experience in a Human resources leadership role, leading an HR function.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to lead and mentor a team.
* Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.

PREFERRED:

* Operational experience in Hospitality, Gaming, or similar setting.
* Experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and/or change management.
* Demonstrated experience coaching individuals and teams to high performance, typically mastered over a period of 5-7 years.
