KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Internal Audit organization.
Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day operational management of internal audit engagements and portfolio of projects; execute IAs vision and goals for high-quality service
* Establish trusted relationships with clients, managing their expectations and helping improve service offerings
* Create and refine internal audit methodologies; drive development and implementation of data and analytics capabilities and other automated auditing tools and techniques to help identify and mitigate risks and increase audit efficiency
* Prepare, review and report audit results to management, recommending changes in operations and control activities and identifying opportunities for continuous auditing and monitoring
* Identify issues related to regulatory and compliance risks that could lead to losses from non-compliance, litigation or regulatory sanctions and fines
* Manage an Internal Audit team, providing leadership, supervision and guidance
Qualifications:
* Minimum five years of recent internal/external audit or related experience
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; CPA, CIA, CISA (or equivalent) certification are preferred
* Strong client services delivery orientation including demonstrated ability to take a primary role executing engagements to internal audit standards with the ability to develop and maintain client relationship at multiple levels within the firm
* Experience leading teams, mentoring staff, evaluating performance and providing performance feedback
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by client service and teamwork
* Solid trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
