Position Overview
The Supplier Excellence Analyst is responsible for the identification and development of business process changes and improvements for one or multiple business areas at Insight. This usually requires analysis of what is needed and development of functional and/or process requirements as well as the documentation, training, and testing, requisite changes. The incumbent will have knowledge of commonly used business and system concepts, practices, and procedures.

The Supplier Excellence Analyst should bring an understanding of business processes and policy to ensure consistency and integrity. The incumbent will architect and implement reporting and provide data supported recommendations to support strategic initiatives. The incumbent will play an integral role in project management, compliance, and margin.
Areas of Responsibility

Proactively identify, analyze, and recommend business process changes and improvements across the operations organization system and processes.
Serve as a conduit for alignment in cross functional process/system design and development efforts to ensure optimal end to end solutions.
Architect and refine centralized reporting to support strategic initiatives and provide ongoing support for those reports.
Manage monthly supplier performance analysis and initiatives including net promoter review, providing operational metrics to suppliers and running the quarterly business reviews with distribution partners.
Communicate effectively and credibly with all organizational levels, with the specific ability to gain trust, draw out needs, creatively propose ideas, and discuss issues and concerns.
Understand the ever-changing business environment of Insight and the specifics of each functional business department.
Design, document, and continually improve business processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
BS/BA or equivalent experience desired.
Minimum 5 years experience in an analytical role providing data driven insights, project management, change management and problem solving preferably in a service business.
Minimum 5 years experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
Data warehouse experience or experience with business intelligence tools.
Project management experience a plus as it relates to the business units. This includes being able to develop project plans to meet team objectives in line with project objectives, coordinate, and influence team personnel, set milestones and achieving them, and providing status reports to Leadership. Can conceptualize and develop creative solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specifically excel and PowerPoint.
Highly articulate in both oral and written communication, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation to achieve desired result.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business concepts and information. Identify opportunities or risks associated to those and possess problem solving skills.
Ambitious, flexible, and aggressive. A demonstrated self-starter who requires minimum supervision and adapts easily to changing work environments and requirements and can drive for results.
