Position Overview

The Team Lead is responsible for directing teammates in their respective area and managing day-to-day operations so that the team meets the required level of production.

As a Returns Team Lead at Insight, youll lead the team responsible for handling returned product from our clients and returning back to vendors. The Team Lead and will interact cross functionally with various internal Insight departments and third-party vendors. The Team Lead is responsible for the coordination of inbound and outbound returns that are submitted by our internal and external clients. Ensure that clients returns are processed in a timely manner to meet client expectations. Monitor and document the daily volume of inbound and outbound shipments in departmental records.

Team Lead works closely with his or her teammates to resolve client problems and reports as required on performance, issues and resolutions. The Team Lead will follow all Insight policies and procedures. Each person is accountable for meeting or exceeding individual and/or departmental metrics.

* Effectively utilize a variety of communication tools to ensure key issues are communicated to teammates and management.
* Provides support in organizing and facilitating department or company meetings.
* Assume the managers role during manager absence.
* Proactively takes accountability for getting things done, driving tasks through to completion.
* Maintain work flow and follow safety procedures and guidelines.
* Assists in daily work flow to reduce or eliminate overtime.
* Work closely with management team to implement new process and procedures.
* Adhere to safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions
* All other duties as assigned.

What youll need to join Insight

* Two year degree preferred, but not required or 3 years returns/ customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some supervisory experience is also desired
