Job Description

Management of employees to ensure operational expectations are met for Insights internal and external customers. Overall supervision includes proper planning, forecasting, training and operational efficiency with regards to employee utilization, logistical processes and employee administrative functions. Responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships within Insight and its partners and clients. Teammate will follow all Insight policies and procedures. Each person is accountable for meeting or exceeding individual and / or departmental metrics.

Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping
Meets warehouse operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
Client focus communications and managing up with details on important situations within the business
Develops warehouse operations improvements by analyzing process workflow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout, implementing changes
Responsible for metric and SLA adherence reporting to all levels of the organization
Reports all business activities to accurately measure business trends to management for sounds business decisions
Responsible for driving operational efficiencies by constantly evaluating processes, procedures and systems.
Maintains open lines of communication with other departments to ensure confidence and enhance the relationships within Insight
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures
Identifying process improvement opportunities and creating a plan to implement
Represents Insight in a professional and business-like manner and communicates effectively with Insight associates and their customers
Issuing of daily, monthly and quarterly reports
Teammate development
Some travel required
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; minimum of 3 years related operations experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in supervising teammates to ensure completion of responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to lead a team of personnel by providing leadership, assistance and advice
Knowledge of SAP for the day-to-day management of resource management, time reporting and expense reporting
Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills required
Possession of strong analytical skills
Ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities
Excellent time management skills
Demonstrated leadership ability and teamwork
Strong computer skills

Light to moderate lifting is required.
Ability to uphold the stress of traveling.
