Position: Systems Architect
Job Duties:
1. Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
2. Design, architect, develop, implement and support large-scale, highly critical enterprise applications.
3. Develop and support Insights Global Search Engine using Elasticsearch/Lucene
4. Implement Analytics Dashboards & Alerting framework using Kibana/Beats
5. Research into BigData & Machine Learning approaches to improve Search Engine Results KPIs
6. Bridge the gap between technology staff and non-technical partners/leadership.
7. Strong Java 7+ skills - networking, threading, locks, and caching.
8. Work with Spring-based technologies (Spring Boot etc.), or any other DI framework.
9. Work with REST/JSON and/or SOAP/XML web services.
10. Design system and infrastructure modern systems, including CPU-RAM interaction, stack memory, heap memory, disk, processes, and how to use them to make an application run fast and scale.
11. Utilize Elasticsearch, SOLR, Lucene, or other document-store technologies.
12. Develop environments using Cloud technologies, AWS or Azure
13. Design and implement micro services based solutions.
14. Analyze applications and performance optimization - use the application analysis tools (profilers, log analyzers, GC logs etc.) to analyze the application performance and propose optimizations.
15. Write code that is well-tested, well-documented, has a clean API, and can be re-used and easily refactored to support more elastic use cases.
16. Document, prepare and present technical solutions to leaders, peers and team members effectively.
17. Analyze applications and performance optimization - use the application analysis tools (profilers, log analyzers, GC logs etc.) to analyze the application performance and propose optimizations.

Job Requirements:
Education Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Science or closely related
Experience Requirements: 5 years experience in job offered, Lead Software Engineer, Senior Application Developer, or closely related
Special Skills Requirements:
1. Experience designing, architecting, developing, implementing and supporting large-scale, highly critical enterprise applications.
2. Experience implementing Search Engine solutions using Elasticsearch/Lucene.
3. Experience with implementing Analytics Dashboards and Alerting framework using Kibana/Beats/Logstash.
4. Experience working with, JAVA 7+ and Spring based Technologies (Spring Boot).
5. Experience with Amazon AWS Cloud Technologies: S3, SQS, SNS, ApiGateway, Route53, DynamoDB, Lambdas, CodePipelines, ECS, Step Functions, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CodeBuild.
6. Experience with Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Function, Logic Apps, ARM Templates, CosmosDB, Devops, Vault.
7. Experience with developing applications following SOA principles utilizing REST/JSON or SOAP/XML web services.
8. Experience with Enterprise Service Bus messaging implementations: Kafka, and IBM/Sonic MQ.
9. Experience working with Relational Database: Oracle, MySQL.
10. Experience with Big Data: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, AWS EMR, AWS Athena, and AWS Glue.
11. Experience with Machine Learning: Python, AWS Sagemaker, Word2Vec, Keras.
12. Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and shell scripting.
