Job Summary:
Performs noninvasive and semi-invasive cardiac ultrasound procedures including, transthoracic (with contrast agent as needed), transesophageal (including intraoperative TEE), stress echo (treadmill or pharmacological), cardiac doppler and color flow doppler. Responsible for accurate measurements of cardiac chambers and valve areas for physician interpretation. Able to work varying assignments, adapts to schedule changes as needed including call shifts and call back. Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards of behavior.

Qualifications
Education:
Vocational or technical education required.
Certifications/Licenses:
Registry required within one (1) year of employment.
Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year experience as a cardiac ultrasound technician is preferred.
