SCHEDULE: Full-time

Pediatric Technician

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shifts from 7am-7pm with Rotating Weekends

Location: Medical City Dallas Hospital

Pediatric Technician Job Summary:

Under the guidance of a registered nurse, serves as a member of the healthcare team by providing assistance with caring for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit patient population. Completes basic psychomotor skills and activities related to care. Supports educational structure provided by a registered nurse. Documents tasks, assessment findings and data collection onto medical record.

Qualifications

Pediatric Technician Job Requirements:

* EMT-B or EMT-P required
* Current American Heart Association BLS provider
* PALS required within 6 months of hire
* Knowledge of care for patients and families in the PICU setting
