The RN on our Stroke Certified Med Surg Neurology unit enjoys a friendly team based environment supported by our PCTs and HUCs. We assist in the treatment of a diverse group of Neurology patients including Stroke, post op and other neurological complexities. The Registered Nurse on our unit is given extensive Neurology training and assistance in their stroke certification.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

* Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years, required
* Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
* BLS is required
* ACLS required within 1 year
* BSN within 24 months of hire
