Float Pool CNA

Earn Premium Float Pay of +5% for this position

Night Shift - 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.

Certified Nursing Assistant:

Working under the supervision of an RN in the Acute Care Setting, the Resource Staff C.N.A. performs various patient care activities necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Qualified candidates must be willing to float between these three specialties as needed and fill in for any staffing shortages. 2+ years of Acute Care Patient Care Tech experience is required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

High School Graduate or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program.

Experience:
Previous experience is required, 2+ years strongly preferred. Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Certifications/Licensure:

Utah Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required. American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.

CNA strongly desired prior to start for this position.

Additional Skills/requirements:
Ability to quickly make decisions to report patient condition with minimal supervision. Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds. Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
