Are you passionate about helping advisors build their business through a culture of planning by mentoring and encouraging associates? Do you love to spend time crafting deeper positive relationships?

Our Financial Planning teams are filled with energy and potential! Our Regional Planning Consultants play a vital role in supporting advisors by reinforcing the principles of our client commitments. You will impact associate development through focused coaching support in the key foundational areas, including communication skills, our product offerings and practice management techniques.

The Expertise Were Looking For

* We ask that you have 5-10 years of experience in the financial service industry
* We require a Series 7 & 63 and will allow study time to obtain the Series 66 & Insurance licenses within 6 months of hire
* CFP or other advanced certification preferred

* Providing subject matter expertise on a broad range of financial planning and investment solutions, including advisory solutions, wealth advisory services, insurance offerings, and retirement income strategies
* Coordinating with management, you are using supportive development plans to provide collaborative training and coaching to associates who are improving their skills and abilities to execute in their roles
* You are encouraging the growth of our associates and preparing them to become highly proficient and effective consultants by embracing a planning culture
* Leading by example and demonstrating organized preparation and effective follow up skills
* Partnering with financial consultants in client appointments to support the introduction and implementation of appropriate product solutions

History of Fidelity Investments

The Fidelity Fund was established in 1930, a year after the stock market crash of 1929 and before the Great Depression of 1933. The fund continued to operate until 1943 when it was acquired by Boston-based lawyer Edward C. Johnson II. At the time, the fund reported assets under management valued at $3 million. In 1946, Johnson II founded the Fidelity Management and Research Company, now Fidelity Investments, to serve as an investment advisor to the Fidelity Fund. When running the fund, Johnson’s objective was to buy stocks with a potential for growth, and not necessarily blue-chip stocks.

Fidelity Investments Operations

Fidelity Investments operates several businesses, with the main ones being mutual funds and brokerage services. The mutual fund division comprises three divisions – equity, high-income, and fixed income divisions. The company operates Fidelity Contrafund, the largest non-indexed mutual fund in the United States, with over $107.4 billion in assets. Fidelity Investments also owns Fidelity Magellan, which was at one time managed by former CEO and President Ned Johnson. Fidelity Magellan manages assets totaling $15.5 billion.
