Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an innovative Solution Architect / BA to develop and implement systems architecture that will meet business needs. The Solution Architect / BA / Developers responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing development teams. You should also be able to regularly update the Leadership team and communicate to executive stakeholders.
To be successful as a Solution Architect / BA / Developer, you should be able to integrate any updated specifications and requirements into the existing architecture. An outstanding Solution Architect / BA / Developer should be able to explain complex problems to management in laymans terms.

We are also looking for a developer to handle Salesforce Release Management including planning, scheduling, and controlling a software build through various stages and environments. An efficient release management process ensures that the deployed code works in line with the expectations of stakeholders.
Solution Architect / BA Responsibilities / Developer:

* Building and integrating information systems to meet the business needs and also supports the CIO strategic goals
* Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
* Resolving technical problems as they arise.
* Providing supervision and guidance to development teams.
* Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
* Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
* Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have.
* Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.

Solution Architect / BA Requirements / Developer:

* Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
* Previous project management experience is advantageous.
* Understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript)
* Understanding of Salesforce platform
* Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
* Efficient communication skills.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.

The Team
As the Solution Architect / BA / Developer for Cloud Consumption you will be responsible for the architecture for our Cloud business that is shifting towards a pay-per-use business model as customers increasingly demand to consume offerings in a flexible, scalable, and secure manner while monitoring their own consumption. You will be working with eight squads across the CPQ Central Platform and various teams across the broader IBM Cloud division.

A day in the life at IBM

* Throughout the day, you will collaborate with your teammates and interact with our product owners all while being based out of our RTP office.
* Participate and/or lead in our lunch and learn sessions
* Work in an open environment where creativity is welcome and encouraged
* Staying relevant to emerging trends in areas related to Cloud and Hybrid Cloud
* Assistance with development and maintenance of deployment pipelines (Jenkins) and scripts to simplify and automate deployment process

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as Solution Architecture / Business Analyst
* Demonstrated experience in driving enterprise level Salesforce projects using agile software development methodologies Strong technical knowledge delivering a Salesforce implementation with Sales Cloud and Community Cloud Experience defining system architectures, identifying risks, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
* Experience in building and deploying Salesforce applications using the Package Deployment Model Strong Salesforce to external systems integration (using APIs and IPaaS tools) Strong Salesforce skills in the areas of configuration, custom build using APEX and Lightning
* Thorough understanding of authentication and authorization using Salesforce Identity People skills with the ability to lead and motivate others and interface with client Certified Salesforce Application Architect or Salesforce System Architect
* Exposure to Quote to Cash end to end application processing
* Demonstrated communication skills in a customer facing environment including uplines and executives.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in (verb)- leading, writing, researching, guiding, managing, etc.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience with Design thinking methods to understand personas and develop great user design
* Demonstrated ability to operate within short release cycles
* Experience using modern collaboration tools in a highly responsive environment
