Job Description
What does a great Data Analyst do?
Perform project management functions and facilitate work streams in the development of various PNC data needs and requirements for (but not limited to) their Data Warehouse project slotted this year, DARs Predictive Modeling, Finances CCAR and DFAST bank regulatory reporting requirements.
As a Data Analyst, you can look forward to:
* Liaising with all groups working on the project PNCs contractor/CGI, PNCs Project Management/Business Owner, internal Fiserv IT teams and SMEs
* Documenting data requirements, source systems, logic, calculations utilized in building various transmission files, etc.
* Addressing issues and concerns as it arise and ensure that specific action plans are followed towards resolution
* Performing testing and validation prior to promoting any application or reporting to UAT and approval for production use
* Managing changes, updates and/or enhancements on recurring weekly/monthly processes such as Attrition/Activation trending and Finance forecasting and planning, impact from Pricing Initiatives and Association Releases, CCIS yearly auto-enrollment, Product Penetration dashboard, etc.
* Partnering with Fiserv Analytics and Finance teams to ensure that any published (both internal and external) reporting and analytics are aligned and consistent with Fiserv models
* Assisting in developing reporting and analytics for Operations teams i.e. new Sales Organization for 2021 restructured for Bankers, Branches, and C&IB, Scorecard for Call Center Operations team and all ad hoc needs
* Creating and managing documentation and data dictionaries for recurring processes and data projects on file output and transmissions
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
* Bachelors degree required. Preferably in relevant field of Data Science, Finance, or Technology
* 5+ years of payments industry experience (or relevant Financial Services experience)
* 5+ years experience in data science/analytics with hands-on execution responsibility
* Experience creating Power Point presentations
* 3+ years relationship building experience with partner and client interaction
* Technical experience with multiple data base platforms, data query tools, data visualization tools, front end authorization platforms, back end auth/clear/settle platforms, client data repositories
