The People Data Reporting Manager at Facebook will manage a team of Data Analysts within our People Analytics organization. This team will work closely with various cross-functional HR Partners and stakeholders to effectively distill ad-hoc requests, ask appropriate questions to understand hypotheses and respond to requests with logical, organized, data/insights in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be curious and inquisitive, have strong critical thinking and analytical skills, will thrive managing concurrent projects while working with a global team to drive outcomes and will enjoy informing and influencing stakeholders with creative storytelling skills.
People Data Reporting Manager Responsibilities
* Lead team of 6+ delivering on Data Analytics and Reporting insights across the organization
* Oversee and manage the performance of the reporting team using KPIs and SLAs to assess the quality, timeliness, and customer service
* Set strategies for and lead the team in support of partnerships with geographically distributed stakeholders
* Lead global project work on the enhancement of reporting operations including process improvements and automation to eliminate manual processes
* Onboard and train team members on new technology, processes and partnerships
* Provide support and leadership in issue resolution on various data issues
* Understand high level Reporting and Analytics needs for each organization to drive insights for stakeholders
* Partner with HR Technology, People Services and other cross-functional teams to provide input on digital experience, self-solve tools, access provisions and data integrity
* Manage the career development of direct reports, as well as help drive their cross-functional relationships
* Apply expertise in qualitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support against business priorities
* Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs and applying contextual knowledge in order to scope data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of analytics teams
* Effectively communicate with cross-functional partners and internal teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion
* Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, manage escalations and resolve issues in a timely manner
* Exercise independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action
* Needs to understand and react quickly to changing priorities even when not all the information is available
Minimum Qualifications
* BA/BS in a field that emphasizes data analysis and visualization (e.g., computer science, social sciences, physical sciences, math, engineering, or statistics), or equivalent work experience
* 6+ years of experience leading data-driven projects, doing quantitative analysis, advanced data reporting and communicating actionable insights
* 4+ years of experience in managing other team members in a formal or informal capacity
* Experience with various data management tools/software, including: i.e. Excel, Visier, Workday
* Experience in SQL and other programming languages
* Experience with HRIS systems as well as Salesforce or similar ticketing systems
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with HR/organizational people data preferred (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)
