Program Manager, Platform Programming: Facebook Reality Labs Creative

Job Description

As the Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) Marketing organization continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced candidate to join the FRL Creative Team - the team that creates integrated campaigns, works across all marketing channels to ensure consistent brand voice, develops collateral for internal and external events, designs packaging for hardware products and creates innovative retail and experiential experiences.

The successful candidate will support Oculus Platform Programming work and must have experience with design, animation, localization and be comfortable managing fast paced end-to-end asset delivery at scale. This person must thrive within cross-functional teams, excel at building and managing relationships with internal partners and stakeholders, and exhibit strong organizational, communication and financial management skills. This person must have proven experience managing agency partners as well as experience building out scalable and measurable programs. Must be flexible and skilled in managing cross-functional relationships. Must be comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous, start-up environment.

Program Manager, Platform Programming: Facebook Reality Labs Creative Responsibilities

* Establish and maintain an efficient and flexible process that facilitates the creation, review, feedback, revision, deployment cycle of art asset production with a partner agency

* Establish and maintain project production schedules to ensure a smooth end-to-end development plan that meets campaign goals and quality bar, and ensures that all art assets are delivered on time and implemented to specification

* Develop lightweight, repeatable processes, standards, workflows and tools that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly

* Predict and/or identify roadblocks and obstacles, and proactively establish meetings or integration points between teams to address and resolve them

* Work closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams to unlock future possibilities

* Facilitate, document and disseminate decisions to key stakeholders

* Prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions

* Manage and evolve our production strategy, process, standards, and tools

* Ensure we are resourcing both the short term needs as well as looking ahead, and planning for the next big challenge across product design teams

Minimum Qualifications

* Experience working with artists, designers and engineers to design, build, and deliver products and effects that use emerging technologies

* Experience articulating design direction to artists and non-artists alike

* Experience working with external vendors, including sourcing and negotiating. Experience managing budgets across multiple cost centers

* Experience in project management and relationship building

* Experience establishing and managing ongoing production processes

* Experience with time management, task prioritization, and identifying problems and work towards solutions

* Demonstrated knowledge of both creative and design process and strategy

* Demonstrated experience in providing creative feedback and critique

* Experience in developing design standards and design tools

* Demonstrated understanding of art production process

* Experience working with external vendors, including sourcing and negotiating
