Facebook is hiring some of the best technical minds around and we need the best recruiting minds to match our business needs. As a Recruiting Manager responsible for the ML/AI function, you will develop, drive and execute on the staffing strategies that support our North American (and sometimes global) software engineering function. You will lead a distributed team of staffing professionals which span across multiple locations. Qualified individuals will have proven experience managing large teams, as well as influencing large recruiting organizations through global strategies and scaling challenges. This person will be a pipeline POC expected to work closely with our global recruiting leaders (recruiting & engineering) to drive world class recruiting practices and strategy.

Recruiting Manager, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence Responsibilities

* Onboard and train new leads or managers. Support leads as they onboard new team members, recruiters and sourcers.

* Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the immediate and global team. Maintain career development plans for leaders in the organization to support deliberate growth and leadership development.

* Ensure leads and managers are driving accountability across recruiters and/or sourcers through proactively managing to milestones and metrics.

* Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring productivity needed to meet FB business objectives.

* Create innovative sourcing strategies

* ensuring a high-touch candidate experience.

* Serve as a change agent leading the organization forward as opportunities for innovation develop.

* Partner with Facebook engineering directors to develop a detailed profile of target candidates with data-driven advice on the range of logical possibilities.

* Identify trends and leverage knowledge, data and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing strategies.

* Lead by example through following, setting or sharing recruiting best practices.

* Compile, analyze and capture insights from data to support business decisions.

* Define, design and implement recruiting programs for a variety of Software Engineering including understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply.

Minimum Qualifications

* 10+ years of recruiting experience

* 5+ years experience managing a team of recruiters and/or sourcers

* Experience managing teams of 10+ direct reports

* Experience communicating and working with cross-functional teams

* Experience multi-tasking

Preferred Qualifications

* Technical recruiting experience

* Experience managing technical recruiters/sourcers

* Change management and/or project management experience
