The Senior Control System and Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for support of process control systems and maintaining cybersecurity effort.
Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:
Recognize a potential security violation and take appropriate action to report the incident as required by regulation.
Monitor information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; develop monitoring and visibility capabilities; report on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.
Remain up-to-date on the latest intelligence, including hackers’ methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches. Anticipate new cyber security threats and actively work to prevent them from occurring.
Maintain security monitoring on all automation control systems and proprietary networks.
Monitor cybersecurity program for security gaps, design effective solutions and provide reports to management.
Work closely with vendors to ensure tools are optimized and effective in supporting the cybersecurity function.
Maintain and continually improve current knowledge of relevant technology as required.
Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform cyber security tasks within PCN.
Apply established cyber security procedures and safeguards and comply with responsibilities of assignment.
Comply with system termination procedures and incident reporting requirements related to potential PCN security incidents or breaches.
Ability to participate in On-Call rotations.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
A minimum of a B.S degree in engineering or information technology or 2-5 years commensurate experience
Experience with the following technologies is preferred: Qradar, Spunk, Linux OS and Endpoint Protection (AV, AWL, etc.)
Experience with the following is preferred : Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, ICS Security and Security Monitoring)
Splunk Certified Power User, or CISSP certifications are preferred.
Experience supporting network security is required.
Implementation of process control and related systems in plant, pipeline, and/or terminal facilities is preferred.
Ability to work on a team or independently.
Must be able to lift a minimum 50 lbs. and climb a ladder.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization (operations and contractors), both verbally and in writing
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and be on call as required.
