ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Design and develop media tests, integrate and maintain advanced tribology testers
* Investigate media design variables impact to hard drive interface
* Reliability evaluation for HDD interface using best practices and methodologies.
* Investigate laser power impact to head/media interface and media variable and design window
* Work with media sputter and process to understand the process impact
* Collaborate with HDD and Head team to improve media performance
* Participate in significant technical investigations from problem statement to conclusions.

Qualification

REQUIRED

* Graduate degree in material science, physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, optical engineering, or equivalent required.
* Ability to effectively manage projects and tasks to deliver deadlines and commitments.
* Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply

PREFERENCE

* Capable of quickly learning new test systems, tools, and methodologies
* Knowledge in programming, Python, data structures, algorithms is plus
* Working experience in relevant field
* Familiarity with media testing
* Knowledge in head/media interface

SKILL:

* Experience in material analysis and instrument
* Possess data analytics and statistics skillset
* Excellent problem-solving skills, solutions oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
