ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead product launch initiatives, including the creation and presentation of product readiness materials which showcase the benefits and technology of Western Digital SSD products line

Collaborate internally with engineering, product management, product marketing teams, legal, web, regulatory and compliance teams to prepare product launch deliverables

Work with internal and external go-to-market marketing teams to build marketing assets in support of launches

Develop positioning and messaging for SSD and HDD product lines, as well as go-to-market strategy

Evaluate competitive products and technologies

Develop compelling, high-quality technical marketing collateral to support the launch of new products

Work closely with the regional channel marketing teams in APAC, China, EMEA, LATAM, and NA to align on product positioning and messaging for GTM

Train sales and marketing team on product features, specs, and value prop

Create campaign strategy and storyline for various product lines working closely with segment marketing teams to identify emerging themes in various verticals to align with product portfolio

Prepare materials for reviewers and work in conjunction with PR teams to ensure proper seeding of product samples for launches and press pitch when needed

Be the brand manager for the entire color product portfolio for worldwide teams to ensure consistency in marketing materials

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Engineering

4+ years in Product Marketing, Engineering and/or Technical Marketing, preferably in the computing, storage or semiconductor industry

Expertise in SSD technologies and or NAND flash memory

Expertise in computing or storage systems hardware and software

Hands on experience with writing code/scripting

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional global teams in multiple time zones

Ability to work well autonomously and within diverse, multi-cultural teams

Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must

Excellent presentation skills including ability to distill complex datasets into easily understood summary format

Some International travel may be required
