Cloud Engineer - Java (VF Services, LLC, Greensboro, NC)
The Cloud Engineer works on Java and cloud technologies to help cloud engineering team with ongoing development. Will work closely with Architecture, Engineering and Business team members to develop and implement cutting edge solutions. Will contribute as Developer on a Scrum delivery team, collaborating with Product Owners, Architects and Testers to deliver business value on an iterative basis. Will investigate, prototype and deliver creative system solutions on Java/AWS cloud stack; perform proof-of-concepts in new technologies; and provide on-call production support as needed.
Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00 am 5:00 pm.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science or directly related field, plus 1 years of software development experience.
Qualifying experience must include 1 year of experience in each of the following:
* Working within a major cloud platform (AWS or Azure);
* Object-oriented design and design patterns, and programming skills;
* Core Java and J2EE concepts;
* Development and consumption of API/web services (both REST and SOAP); and
* Scrum team using agile methodologies.
