Valley Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Director of Intake/Admissions to join our team!
Director of Intake/Admissions:
The Director of Intake/Assessment Services has a 24 hour a day seven day a week responsibility and accountability for assessment, referral and admission activities. As a clinician, this position provides direction to a staff of Assessment Clinicians (RN's) who act as the Qualified Medical Professional, Patient Relation Coordinators, Behavioral Health Technicians in the provision of psychiatric assessment services, including clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, and referrals. This position interfaces closely with the medical staff, fellow department heads and administration, treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations, functions as a liaison with other hospital intake departments. The Director of intake will oversee the Mobile Assessment Team (MAT) that provides 24-hour crisis assessment and referral services for our contracted hospitals.

Valley Hospital is centrally located with easy access to many areas of greater Phoenix. We are between North 35th and 36th Streets with East Earl to our north and East Thomas to our south.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with 3 plus years-experience required, previous intake experience preferred or Licensed Clinician required with 4 years plus of previous intake/admissions experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:
* Must be certified in CPR upon hire and-annually thereafter.
* Must complete all required mandatory in-services annually.
* Must complete Satori Alternatives for Managing Aggression (SAMA) including hold and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
