Responsibilities

Charge Nurse Opportunity for our Adolescent Unit. Centennial Peaks Hospital is a104 bed behavioral health facility located in beautiful Louisville, CO. We are dedicated to providing a full range of mental health and chemical dependency services to the state of Colorado. We strive to enhance the mental health, safety and well-being of our patients, their families, and the community at large by providing ethical, compassionate, medically and psychologically integrated inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for psychiatric and addiction disorders.

The Charge Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Centennial Peaks Hospital. The Charge Nurse prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process that is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The Charge Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities for their assigned unit, communicating with all staff on all shifts for that unit and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit. The Charge Nurse will be an active member within the Service Excellence Council and promote Service Excellence while working within Centennial Peaks

Pay Range: $33.50-45.40

Shift Differential: $0-$2.00

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Licensure and registration by the Colorado Division of Regulatory Agencies as a registered nurse.

Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management and CPR training.

Hours 7am- 3:30pm
