Responsibilities

The Receptionist facilitates the flow of organization information; to provide a positive, responsive environment for receiving internal and external customers via telephone and face-to-face encounters. This 20 hour, part time position covers Monday and Tuesday evenings during the week from 4 PM until 8:30 PM, and Saturday/Sunday 3 PM until 8:30 PM, possibly including holidays.
* Answers, routes and responds to incoming telephone calls
* Provides routine organization-related information to calls and visitors
* Provides Back Up clerical support to Medical Records and other departments as assigned
* Ensures all visitors sign in are given visitor badges
Qualifications
Requires High School Diploma or equivilent
Prior customer service, preferably in a medical or heathcare setting is desired
Ability to effectively interact with hospital staff and visitors
Basic computer literacy and ability to use office equipment
