How will you make an impact?The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Assembly Center support. The successful incumbent will drive successful safety, quality and delivery metrics through employee development of the non-exempt warehouse staff and through continuous improvement efforts by teaching, training and leading lean manufacturing events in the support warehouse

What will you do?

* Following all safety requirements and cGMP requirements
* Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous improvement activities including 5S activities
* Keep warehouse and staging area2019s tour ready at all times
* Be responsive to internal and external customers
* Strong Communications: between shifts, Employees, Customers and Management Responsible for the continued safety of the support warehouse associates and any other non warehouse associates on the floor
* Ensure each new associate receives proper training following standard work and continued training is effective
* Continually audit, train to and update standard work
* Conduct regular 1 to 1 meetings with all direct reports and prepare and deliver meaningful midyear and annual performance evaluations to direct reports
* Other duties as assigned.

How will you get there?

Education:

* Demonstrated leadership abilities Bachelors Degree in science, business or operations management
* OR High School diploma with 5 years of related experience in a lean warehouse environment

Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

* More than 4 years experience in varied operations with at least 2 years of supervisory experience of non exempt workforce
* Good working knowledge or MRP II, ERP and Oracle system
* Working knowledge of all job picking and releasing processes
* Understanding of inventory control methods and their implementation
* Knowledge of Powered Industrial Truck operations and OSHA Requirements
* Excellent communication and computer skills including MS Word, Excel(Formula set up), and Outlook

* Ability to work with little or no supervision
* Proven ability to address employee concerns.
* Understands correct processes and procedures for Distribution
* Participate in Lean and Continuous improvement activities. Ability to develop a strong cross functional warehouse team focused on driving speed, innovation and customer value
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Experience analyzing and reporting on key metrics: Safety, Quality, Order Fulfillment Service Level, Order Fulfillment, Inventory Control and Accuracy, Various Efficiency Measurements (output per labor hour, inventory and job staging accuracy, etc.)
