Job Title: Supervisor, Hub Inventory Planning

Reports To: Demand Planning, Senior Manager

Position Summary and Objectives

The Supervisor, Inventory Hub Planning is responsible for developing and executing inventory plans that will enable the company to meet sales and service objectives through collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales, marketing, and customer support teams.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

00B7 Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.

00B7 Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.

00B7 Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.

00B7 Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.

00B7 Responsible for short-term (day-to-day, weekly, or monthly deliverables.

00B7 Align the unconstrained demand forecast with the commercial and product management teams and assure sign202Foff of202Fcommercial on the demand plan (Regional level)200B

00B7 Align the demand plan with the site planning team to assure the right net demand to be loaded to the site202F(Global level for the sites within region)200B

00B7 Communicate constraints and allocations to the BU, customer and sales teams (SOP needed) (Regional level)200B

00B7 Drive gap allocation processes together with other regions and the site planning team (lead by the analytics202Fteam) for long term strategic planning ) (Regional level)200B

00B7 Manage the manual allocation process for day-to-day execution202F200B

00B7 Conduct the SIOP demand review meetings, bridge regional plan to regional financial plan ) (Regional level)200B

00B7 Ensure SKU unit/case demand alignment with BU and Operations (Global level for the sites within region)200B

00B7 Define the parameters for the Hub location and maintain master data (Regional)202F200B

00B7 Define the inventory position on hub location in alignment with central inventory controlling (Regional)200B

00B7 Define the supply chain setup at hub level, e.g. MTO vs MTS vs MTF in alignment with the site planning team202Fand the central inventory controlling (Regional)200B

00B7 Drive the product segmentation and alignment with commercial to decide on the right supply chain setup202F(Global)200B

00B7 Plan ramp up and ramp down scenarios for new product introductions and product discontinuations200B

00B7 Key contact for regional commercial lead (Regional)200B

00B7 Communication to customer care on lead times and order status (internal customer,202Fext202Fvia customer service)202F(Regional)200B

00B7 Communication between regional hubs on status of internal shipments (Global)200B

00B7 Finished Goods Inventory Health (E&O, MOQs, SS) (Global)200B

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

00B7 Bachelor2019s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field is required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree preferred.

00B7 Minimum of 5 years of related experience

00B7 Full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, intermediate/journey-level position.

00B7 Requires applying knowledge of business practices, methodologies, and/or principles in the execution of short-term (1-2 years) functional deliverables or results.

00B7 Demonstrated expertise in ERP/MRP Planning systems, including all relevant planning parameters such as inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management and procurement functionality in ERP and best-of-breed software solutions is strongly preferred, with specific emphasis on SAP ECC, EWM and APO

00B7 High proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).

00B7 Strong knowledge or planning and purchasing systems.

00B7 Solid understanding of concepts of inventory flow throughout the supply chain.

00B7 Strong understanding of concepts of inventory management and distribution planning.

00B7 Strong customer service focus.

00B7 Ability to develop and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquires on inventory, capacity and product availability.

00B7 Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate critical information.

00B7 Good problem solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with problems varying in complexity relative to job level.

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements

00B7 APICS certification.

00B7 Relevant experience in the Life Science or Medical Device industry.

Six Sigma Green / Black Belt Certification
