How will you make an Impact?
As an HR Manager to the business and functional leaders, you will consult and take action in the areas of talent management, organizational design, performance management, career development, workforce planning, employee relations, compensation planning and change leadership. You will support the business objectives of the assigned business unit(s) including our Commercial Manufacturing and Packaging Operations. Emphasis of this role is on the leadership of forward thinking HR programs and processes that will improve performance, retention and employee engagement.
What will you do?
* Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into critical HR actions, programs and initiatives
* Consult with functional leaders in areas such as organizational assessment, succession planning, organizational structure, and work force planning change management in order to strengthen overall organizational capability.
* Drive the HR component of the business strategy through planning, developing, and implementing HR initiatives that increase the productivity, competence, and effectiveness of assigned client groups.
* Counsel and/or coach employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to resolution, discipline and/or terminations in line with local culture and the business and legal environment.
* Drive employee engagement and satisfaction through promotion of a positive company culture while balancing employee concerns with all levels of company goals.
* Ensure effective talent management including recruitment, assessment and development as the organization grows both organically as well as through acquisition. Assist managers in assessing and identifying resources to meet employee/departmental training needs and encouragement of employees to continuously develop their skills in their field of work.
* Manage the partnership with the talent acquisition team, including staffing coordination and job requisition management.
* Support COE and large scale HR initiatives (i.e., roll out annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.)
* Facilitate the performance management process and communicates results to appropriate stakeholders and recommends areas for improvement. Responsible for the enhancement of employee performance through the implementation of performance support tools.
* Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach.
* Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives including but not limited to salary review, workforce planning, organizational change, on-boarding, job analysis, new hire and exit processes, selection, performance, diversity and leadership initiatives.
* Recommends new approaches, corrective actions, and updates to policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Assists with the administration and implementation of the same.
* Interacts with other departments to revise and improve internal processes and procedures.
How will you get there?
Education
* Bachelor2019s degree, MBA preferred
Experience
* 7 years of experience and specialized knowledge of the Human Resources function
* 2+ years manufacturing experience and pharmaceutical experience is a plus
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
* General knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resource administration;
* Ability to influence and build strong collaborative relationships with site HR, site leadership and corporate HR leaders; demonstrates strong customer orientation

* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Knowledgeable of employment law, organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management
