The Market Development Specialist III will support the execution of marketing events for the Protein and Cell Analysis (PCA) business. This dynamic individual will be a key member of the Protein and Cell Analysis Global Market Development team and will work with a broad team, across multiple programs, and support our regional partners to contribute to the overall growth of the Protein and Cell Analysis Business Unit, globally. The successful candidate will drive deployment of marketing events, organization of marketing collateral, vendor management and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deploy engaging customer events to support education and instrument lead generation.
* Execution of marketing events both virtual and face-to-face, including seminars, conferences, user meetings, trade shows, product exhibitions, user trainings, in strict adherence to the brand guidelines, marketing budget and schedule.
* Lead successful deployment of PCA Scientist-to-Scientist (S2S) events working closely with marketing and R&D organizations
* Coordinate logistics effectively with external partners- suppliers, creative agencies, vendors, who are critical for events2019 and campaigns2019 success.
* Serve as primary point of contact at customer events and onsite customer feedback capture.
* Ensure adherence to established Thermo Fisher brand and messaging guidelines for all inbound and outbound communications.
* Support organization of outbound marketing material (brochures, emails, web pages).
* Monitor and maintain the marketing inventory- literature, banners, standees, merchandise, etc. to ensure smooth execution of events.
* 100% alignment and adherence to marketing budget spend and process compliance.
* Connect with corporate marketing team to ensure 100% compliance on branding guidelines.
* May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor2019s degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline or combination of proven experience of min 3 years in event management and marketing communication.
* Exceptional communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills necessary.
* Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
* Capable to work in a cross functional marketing team.
* Capable to identify and introduce processes to streamline marketing operations thus driving productivity.
* Ability and willingness to work independently taking full ownership for assigned projects.
* Demonstrated ability to understand field needs, attitudes and interact with sales teams.
* Strong business acumen and customer focus are essential.
