Tenneco Powertrain (previously Federal-Mogul) has rewarding opportunities for Production Operators at our Greenville, MI facility! Production Operators may fill openings in any of our departments including Bearings, Bushings, Material Prep., Shipping & Receiving, and Quality.

The general duties of our positions include but are not limited to the following:

* Operating machinery and other industrial equipment to produce bearings, bushings, and washers for the automotive and heavy duty industries in a fast paced environment
* Responsible for producing quality parts
* Reading blueprints
* Use of gages
* Setting up and troubleshooting pieces of equipment in minimum time
* Use of computers to input and retrieve data
* Working in a team environment
* Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

Position requirements and experience:

* Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Qualified applicant must have the ability to work 1st shift (7am - 3pm), 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm), and 3rd shift (11pm - 7am)
* All shifts may require daily or weekend overtime
* The individual should have the ability to be licensed and drive powered industrial trucks, lifts,
etc.
* Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screen and background
check

Pay and Benefits:

* The starting wage is $14.53/hour during the 120 day probationary period. After successful completion of the probationary period, the wage will increase to a minimum of $16.53/hour
and a maximum of $18.77/hour depending on the positions employees are placed into.
