PowerSecure is seeking a data-driven, meticulous, and highly organized candidate to fill our Senior Financial Analyst positionin Durham, NC. The person in this role is responsible for accessing and working with large ERP datasets, maintaining financial models, creating and preparing financial reports, and conducting financial analyses.

Key functions include:

* Lead month-end data, reporting and analysis process related to consolidated financial reporting, a monthly financial reporting package, business unit project financial reporting, functional cost budget-to-actual reporting and analysis.

* Partner with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.

* Lead the quarterly forecasting process related to corporate functional fixed cost modeling, consolidation of forecast data and consolidated reporting.

* Lead the annual budgeting process related to maintaining budget models (including fixed costs, depreciation/amortization), aiding functional leaders with fixed cost budget development, consolidation of budget data and consolidated reporting.

* Conduct financial analyses including buy vs. lease analysis and capital expenditure IRR analysis

* Prepare ad-hoc analyses upon request

Requirements

* Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related financial field

* 4+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or related role

* Experience developing and maintaining financial models

* Advanced MS Excel skills

* Hands-on ERP experience

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

* Background in a manufacturing and/or construction industry a plus
