Job Description
As a QA Automation Lead at CVS Health in our Enterprise Analytics group, you will be orchestrating testing of the major analytical components of the Underwriting Platform. You will also serve as the liaison with the QA Leads in our partner organizations in IT and underwriting analytics. You will lead a team of Automation Test Engineers.
Your role is vital to ensure that testing requirements have been met before changes are put into production. This has a great impact on end users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal customers.
What you will be doing:
Drive the test strategy and plan for automated testing around the analytics systems of the Underwriting Platform.
Evaluate the analytical system components of the UW Platform and design and execute tests.
Work closely with individual QA Leads on each initiative team, as well as the IT systems quality assurance leads to coordinate a unified approach to quality of the UW Platform.
Work with product analysts and business owners to outline acceptance criteria for each feature set.
Organize the latest advances in QA process to evaluate, test, and validate software and/or IT services.
Design and implement a triage process for evaluating defects and bugs and set up proper escalation mechanisms that keep stakeholders informed on the quality status of the application.
Deploy reporting and dashboarding systems to keep the teams informed of the quality status of the application.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in automated quality assurance for an analytic software product.
2+ years of experience in quality assuring analytics systems for forecasting, healthcare analytics, and machine learning domains.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with QA software products that have an analytical component or machine learning embedded in them
Experience with quality assurance of systems deployed on the cloud (e.g., Azure) and the IT and security process around them.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, Health Policy, or other related field; or Advanced Degree
