Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) is looking for an entry-level Supply Chain Associate to support the Largo Logistics Shipping Operation using multiple parallel software applications to provide support to operation and other internal customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reading, interpreting, and executing written / verbal instructions.
Insuring the use of proper material handling processes and run rules.
Support Largo Shipping with the preparation and shipment of products and materials.
Examine incoming documentation and materials, and products in order to ensure compliance and proper material handling.
Support the day to day operation under the guidance and direction of management.
Provide process support to customer and BU Operators within Logistics in troubleshooting problems that may prevent timely processing of shipments.
Generate Carrier Bills of Lading and Waybills for outbound transit via low cost carrier
Keep a clean, organized work environment.
Establish and Maintain 6S efforts within Logistics Shipping work areas.
Follow Logistics processes within respected areas of operation, while identifying GAPs or areas requiring process improvement
Coordinate and monitor workflow, assisting in prioritizing activities in assigned areas to support and meet established service level commitments
Experience working in a compliance driven environment, following Raytheon RIS policies and procedures and current Enterprise Instructions (EIs) that are applicable to the task being performed
Required Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of Shipping, Transportation or Logistics related administrative experience
Experience working in a compliance-driven environment
Working knowledge of SAP, PRISM, APEX and WAWF Web-based tools
Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance
Ability to work occasional extra hours
Ability to lift up to 28 lbs.
Experience working within a diverse team environment
Experience with Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position requires a U.S. Secret Security Clearance upon starting.
