An experienced Cyber Security Architect - IPv6 SME is needed to support our customers Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) program in Falls Church, Virginia.
* The resource will work with the Security Architecture Strategic Solutions team.
* This resource will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of a secure transition to IPv6.
Responsibilities and requirements:
* 8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or higher
* The position requires U.S. Person status or a Non-U.S. Person be eligible to obtain Authorization
* The successful candidate should demonstrate the following requirements:
* Must have hands on transition experience from IPv4 to IPv6 with some large organization networks.
* Must have experience with IPv6 address management, ICMP6, DHCP6, DNS6 and v6 Security
* Must have experience with interoperability of feature rich networking device, designing and testing automation.
* Must have experience with IPv6 Addressing, Routing, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancers and Virtual Networking.
* Expert level knowledge in environments with CISCO, VMWARE, Cloud, SD-WAN, BGP & OSPF
* Excellent communication Skills written and oral presentation
* Ability to create and maintain specifications and detailed schematics for network security architecture
* Ability to architect IT risk management with focus on security, performance and reliability
* Demonstrate experience in network theory and practice
Desired skills: Experience with published whitepapers on networking and IPv6
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in a related field. In lieu of degree, two additional years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
