Raytheon Technologies Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Mission Area has a position for a Manager, Program Contracts for the Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV) Program working within our Integrated Missile Defense Solutions (IMDS) Program Area Directorate. The EKV Program operates in partnership with industry partners and the Missile Defense Agency to advance this important homeland defense capability.
The candidate will be the Contracts lead for the IMDS EKV Program with responsibility for strategic capture, management and administration of new CPIF/CPAF/FPIF/T&M development efforts under the Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV) program. The successful candidates duties will include a lead role in Request for Proposal (RFP) assessment, capture and proposal strategy, contract negotiation, customer engagement and collaboration, and contract administration. The successful applicant will be the primary customer interface for business and contracting matters. The selected candidate will advise management of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual/program risks.
The successful candidate must have a track record of success in domestic Department of Defense (DoD) contracting including terms and conditions, FAR/DFARS, and risk mitigation during a program lifecycle. The successful candidate will be expected to have the prerequisite skills and experience to represent Raytheon independently on significant transactions. This assignment requires an ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with external and internal customers.

Required Skills:
* 10 years of experience in domestic contract administration, including proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
* BA/BS in Business, Finance, or related field.
* A proven track record of success in domestic contracting including terms and conditions, FAR/DFARS, employing policies and procedures, and Risk Mitigation
* Managing and reporting on subcontract performance to Contracts and Program leadership.
* Prior negotiations experience and demonstrated ability of cross-functional leadership within a geographically dispersed team.
* U.S. Citizenship is required
* Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
