This position is a Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) Contracts position working within Land Warfare & Air Defense (LW&AD) Mission Area. Primary responsibilities will include supporting the EUCOM Business Area which has a wide base of Programs and Customers including Army Contracting Command (ACC) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), NATO Support Agency (NSPA), Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA) with a mix, FMS and DCS contracts.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, motivated by results, possess skills in contracts or related applicable business experience, and the ability to interact effectively with external as well as internal customers. Duties will include participation in front-end assessment of business pursuits, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and significant customer activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment of contract requirements in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Candidate must be able to readily adapt in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The Contract Professional supporting this key business area is responsible for management of the customer relationship, the provision of business counsel and leadership to the Program Management Teams, together with expedited proposal, negotiation and/or definitization of contracts that are critical to RMD and IAMD Programs. Must be able to recognize business and contractual issues in program performance implement solutions; carry to completion, while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision.

This position is located in Tewksbury, Massachusetts or remotely.

Responsibilities:
* Participation in front-end assessments of new business pursuits; analysis of requests for proposals (RFPs);
* Developing creative solutions to contract challenges and expediting closure of open actions
* Providing business and contracts guidance to program team during proposal and contract execution phases;
* Proposal reviews and coordination; Contract negotiation and general contract management responsibilities.
* Serves as subject matter expert for interpreting acquisition regulations and contract requirements;
* Provides sound contract management oversight to assure that business agreements are made in accordance with Company objectives and policies;
* Acts as the formal business interface with external and internal customers on programmatic issues including change management, organizational conflict of interest (OCIs), etc.;
* Interprets and communicates requirements, ensures compliance; documents changes & negotiates equitable adjustments

Required Skills:

* Experience working with DoD Production Contracts or other contract types
* Experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and/or equivalent government regulations
* 6 years of professional experience (Masters or J.D. degree will substitute 2 years of required experience)
* Experience with contract & financial structures, pricing strategies, policy & procedure and compliance principles.
* Ability to travel (approximately 10%)
* This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance (Secret). Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a clearance

Desired Skills:
* Advanced degree (Masters or J.D.)
* NCMA Certification (CPCM or CFCM)
* Demonstrated ability to develop advanced concepts and solutions to unusual problems that involve a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation.
* Six Sigma Certified
Required Education (including Major):
* BS degree in Business Administration, Finance or other related degree. (Masters or J.D. degree will substitute 2 years of required experience
