Job Description

Integrated Planning Lead (IPL) needed for the Naval Power product line.

The Production Control IPL will perform a variety of technical and business tasks to support production, including partnering with an international workshare and responsible for Supply Planning for the program. The candidate needs to be energetic, a strong communicator, able to work independently and have the ability and desire to be a change agent. This individual will manage overall program planning responsibilities as well as the associated tasks listed below.

The selected candidate will be accountable to performance around material requirements, execution to schedule and instilling a can-do sense of ownership and alignment between the Supply Chain Team, the Program, and Factories to support superior OTD / MRP performance.

This position can be Sr. Planning Production Control Specialist or Principal Planning Production Specialist depending on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

U.S Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within first year of employment.

Responsibilities:
* Interface and coordinate with Program Leadership Team and other Functional customers
* Interface with Factory Production Control Leads and Planners
* Communicate schedule changes across multiple factories
* Partner with Master Scheduling to create, coordinate and enter MSIS changes
* Run and analyze Kinaxis simulations
* Help develop strategic plans (MRSP) with the POM and MPMs
* Facilitate Program Line of Balance
* Drive MRP Health with data integrity
* Maintain Planned Independent Requirements for schedule accuracy
* Manage Program Residual
* Compliance Support for DCMA and other scheduled audits
* MOCAS/DD250 Coordination and Management
* Manage international shipments
* Coordinate with PMX on recertification activities

Required Skills:
Sr. Planning Production Control Specialist

* Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts. Twelve (12) years of experience in a fast-paced production, manufacturing, or military environment can be considered in lieu of degree completion
* Four (4) years total combined experience in any of the following: Supply Chain, Production and/or and Planning Control, MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Property Management, JIT Concepts, Master Production Scheduling, or Delivery Administration
* U.S. Citizenship required

Principal Planning Production Control Specialist

* Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts. Fourteen (14) years of experience in a fast-paced production, manufacturing, or military environment can be considered in lieu of degree completion
* Six (6) years total combined experience in any of the following: Supply Chain, Production and/or and Planning Control, MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Property Management, JIT Concepts, Master Production Scheduling, or Delivery Administration
* U.S. Citizenship required

Desired Skills:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management
* Proven success and demonstration of supporting material planning/procurement issues and driving successful outcomes
* Proven leader in a matrix environment
* A working knowledge of ITAR rules and regulations
* Experience with SAP systems or other ERP systems
* Experience with Government and Depot type processes
* Proficient with MS Excel
* Experience reading and evaluating lists of parts required for production work and working with a production planning system
* EAC experience
* Active DOD Security Clearance
