Job Description
Raytheon Missiles & Defense Tucson has an opportunity for an energetic and motivated intern in our Innovation and Advanced Manufacturing area.
Intern responsibilities may include:
* Project management for the Innovation and Automation Directorate
* Create and maintain project schedules
* Meet with internal customers to discuss and clarify requirements
* Be involved in technical discussions around physical or data automation
* Perform data transfer or consolidation
* Input and manipulate data in Excel
* Participate in process improvement discussions
* Creation of documentation or guides
Required Skills:
* Pursuing Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations management or closely related field.
* Knowledge of Microsoft office products (I.e. Word, Excel)
* US Citizenship required as position will require a DoD security clearance
Desired Skills:
* Organizational, prioritization, analytical, and problem solving skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of management
* Ability to be agile, organized and a team player
This position can be a Salary Grade SA02, SA03, SA04 or Salary Grade SA05 based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
* SA02 (Sophomore Technical Intern) - must have completed 30 hours of college
* SA03 (Junior Technical Intern) - must have completed 60 hours of college
* SA04 (Senior Technical Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college
* SA05 (Post Grad Technical Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.
