Job Summary:
Under limited direction with a high level of autonomy, uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience, to lead and coordinate the development and implementation of strategies, programs and processes for supporting sales and education efforts for Private Client Banking products. Influences the direction, develops tactical plans and completes complex assignments with appreciable latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions. Leads major projects, programs or processes with significant business impact involving cross-functional departments. Builds PCB product awareness and understanding among financial advisors and branch professionals. Lead marketing, training or education efforts of FAs and SAs (e.g. general product, campaigns, initiatives, technology enhancements, Cash & Lending Institute.) Works in partnership with all internal support groups to ensure consistent and high quality service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifies opportunities to sell and promote Private Client Banking (PCB) products and communicates those opportunities to Banking Consultants, Internal Banking Consultants, Private Client Group and PCB Management.
Collaborates with team responsible for fulfillment of Securities Based Lending, Structured Lending, Mortgage Banking, and Cash Solutions to incorporating feedback to enhance product messaging and sales.
Oversight of development and content maintenance in line with strategic PCB marketing objectives.
Develops and designs educational programs, delivery and implementation for financial advisor and branch education of PCB products including Cash & Lending Institute.
Implements ideas to improve sales effectiveness and productivity including target marketing and drip campaigns.
Incites enthusiasm and markets education programs and opportunities to create and maintain support for PCG products among all necessary constituencies.
Works with branches, PCG leadership and banking sales teams to drive strategic objectives utilizing cash and lending product offerings.
Develops and deepens relationships at a firm level to promote and integrate PCB products as part of coordinated delivery for maximum effectiveness.
May lead the planning and coordination of national/regional conferences, senior level financial advisor and client seminars, branch presentations, advisory councils, and other sales functions
Owns key growth initiatives through strategic partnerships with other business areas
Map and evaluate sales processes combining both quantitative and qualitative inputs (sales team observation, inputs).
Scope and manage market/segment specific insights, analyses for PCB management
Manage internal and external communications, including presentations to various audiences.
Researches and maintains current information on competitor firms.
Balances conflicting resource and priority demands.
Recommends changes to organizational policies and procedures.
Incorporates Service 1st philosophy in product and service deliveries.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of:
Advanced principles, practices, concepts and procedures of cash solutions, securities based lending (including Margin), mortgages, and structured lending and banking and financial markets and products.
Principles and methods for promoting and educating on securities based lending, margin, mortgages, structured lending and cash management.
The psychology of retail sales.
External vendors offering sales and/or education aids.
Knowledge of credit products including, residential mortgage products, and securities based loans, and high net worth structured lending products.
Investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
Banking and broker dealer regulations including sales practice
Financial markets and products.
Skill in:
Developing and planning large scale learning initiatives and managing projects from inception to implementation.
Cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree from four year college or university with a minimum of ten (10) years experience in banking or financial services.
