Job Description

The Quality Chemist in the Quality Lab will test and inspect products at various stages of the production cycle for conformance to acceptance criteria and conformance to ISO 9001 standards! They are also involved with projects focused on improving the quality and reliability of our products!

Key Responsibilities:

* Testing of finished product, intermediate goods, and raw materials according to procedures
* Contribute to Quality processes as needed to comply with applicable ISO standards
* Ensure proper use and status of all QC equipment and instrumentation
* Responsible for accuracy of information documented on Quality Records
* Document any nonconformance, deviation or out-of-specification material appropriately
* Entering QC data into computer files
* Testing and updating shelf-life of products
* Reviewing batch production records to improve first time approvals
* Maintaining a 5S work environment.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* College coursework in chemistry, and polymer science with laboratory experience preferred
