Job Description

Our client located in Seattle, WA is seeking a Data Analyst for a 12 month contract.This role will:- Work closely with internal business stakeholders to identify and develop BI opportunities (including dashboards, reports, analyses, data products, etc.)- Partner with engineers to guide and develop analytics infrastructure to support multiple use cases- Balance current business needs with long term vision- Actively strengthen team culture of accountability, continual improvement, and cooperation- Report to Head of Business Intelligence with core responsibility of monitoring data integrity and gathering/analyzing data- Identify data governance gaps that may present organizational barriers and find ways to close them- Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement solutions and generate reporting to meet business goals- Demonstrate critical thinking for potential roadblocks; comprehends bigger picture of the business and effectively communicates these issues to greater news digital organization Collaborates with reporting teams and business owners to turn data into actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting toolsQuals--- Intellectual curiosity- Effective communicator (speaking and listening)- Practical ambition - you should want to take on stretch assignments and increase your scope, while investing in your own development to acquire proficiency and expertise- Ability to tell integrous stories with data and data visualization- Experience executing open-ended analyses with actionable findings- Strong desire to learn, to think deeply about business problems, and share knowledge- Very comfortable with data wrangling (Excel, SQL, Python, etc.)- Able to formulate and ask smart questions to rapidly gain subject matter expertise- Comfortable working on individual projects with minimal direction- Able to recognize and act on gaps or opportunities- Happy to ask for and receive help from teammatesNTT DATA, Inc.
