As Sales Development Manager you will be key to the development of the team and will be expected to play a strong role in mentoring team members.
As part of the Sales Support management team, the Sales Development Manager leads by example with a hands-on approach to ensure achievement of qualification targets, KPI metrics, and productivity expectations.
Responsibilities
* Day to day management, including performance management, motivation, call coaching and development.
* Frequent communications with through individual meetings, team meetings and lead management reviews.
* Responsible for all personnel matters including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and retention, annual performance reviews, and any performance issues.
* Coordinates all sales and product training needs for new hires, as well as on-going training needs for individuals or the team.
* Oversee the lead volumes and prioritization to ensure responsiveness and quality opportunities are created for the sales representatives.
* Utilize available reports and tools (Salesforce/PowerBI) to manage performance.
* Consistent interaction with the sales team and sales management; frequent interaction with marketing, application engineering, customer service, and sales operations. Active participant in worldwide sales support community initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required. 2 years management experience is required.
Additional Qualifications
* History of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
* Formal selling methodology knowledge or certification is preferred
* Strong organization/prioritization skills; proven ability to consistently meet deadlines is essential
* Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
* Strong analytical skills
* Experience of using CRM applications (ideally Salesforce) is strongly preferred
