The Pricing Analyst will work under the direction of the Manager of Pricing & Analysis and support the firms attorneys and accounting personnel through the process of recording, maintaining and tracking of pricing arrangements and client budgets. The Analyst will also assist in the design of analytical tools and reporting systems to monitor and report on pricing and fee arrangements.

* Work with attorneys and others during the intake process to understand pricing arrangements to ensure the arrangement is properly recorded in the appropriate system.

* Manage, monitor and track matters with alternative fee arrangements; evaluates and develops best practices and benchmarking for fee agreements that maximize efficiencies in providing successful legal services.

* Monitor performance of pricing arrangements against established goals and key performance indicators, including utilization, leverage, realization, and profitability.

* Review lateral partner candidate questionnaires and supporting documentation. Prepare quantitative and qualitative candidate analysis for management review.

* Utilize dashboards, standard reporting, and ad hoc reporting systems to develop and maintain an understanding of the financial metrics of clients and matters.

* Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.

* Minimum of three (3) years analysis experience including advanced financial analysis skills.

* Knowledge of professional services, financial metrics, and billing practices preferred.

* Understanding of legal terminology is a plus.

* Expert with Microsoft Excel. Ability to learn, leverage, and use additional programs including budgeting and financial management software.
