Position Summary:
The primary role of this position is to support members of the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology (MMI) engaged in sponsored research or other sponsored activities, such as training grants, fellowships, and career development awards through professional administrative activities to maintain and build on the vibrant and expanding MMI research portfolio.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required. Preference in health administration, biological sciences, accounting, or business.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
This position requires one or more years of experience in research grant administration. A person holding a bachelor's degree in a field other than the preferred, must have at least two years of substantial involvement or familiarity in research or sponsored programs administration either in a sponsoring or recipient organization or the equivalent in a self-funding organization.
Experience in a medical, research or education setting is desirable. Knowledge of NIH and other federal and university regulations for conduct of research is highly preferred.
