Job Description

To assemble product per blueprint assuring finished product passes all applicable performance test requirements. The employee will receive assignments from the Production Coordinator and/or Lead Person. The employee must be willing to work in a team oriented environment. This description in no way limits the activities of or assignments to this position. The employee may be assigned to other objectives as required by day to day plant operations. The employee is expected to use good judgment in efficiently completing the assigned objectives.

1. Handle components so that they are protected from damage 2. Assemble product per blueprint and per instructions while ensuring no damage is done to components 3. Repair any rejected product using sound trouble shooting practices 4. Operate test equipment and determine which assemblies pass performance test requirements and which require repair 5. Perform accurate counts and production documentation 6. Assist in training other employees 7. Utilize safety equipment and follow safe and good manufacturing practices for personal protection and safety of coworkers 8. Audit the parts produced at specific intervals during the production run to ensure continuing compliance with specifications 9. Must have a working knowledge and good understanding of test stand 10. Conducts performance tests and quarterly calibration of test stands 11. Must be willing to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)

- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent - Must have worked in assembly for at least 1 year
