Position Summary

We are seeking an intelligent, energetic, results-oriented individual to grow our Manufacturing leadership team at NVR's plant near Richmond, Va. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a high-performing customer service and administrative team charged with delivering a high-quality, 100% complete, and on-time product to our internal customers. You will have the opportunity to learn about other areas of operations and manufacturing through special project work, training, and visits to NVR job sites and other manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have the skills and abilities to grow into a broader management role and a desire to lead in a manufacturing environment.

* Lead, coach, and motivate a team to achieve plant goals.
* Create and promote a culture of cooperation and collaboration.
* Oversee the customer scheduling and delivery process and ensure timely and accurate communication with our internal customers.
* Quickly and effectively respond to any product and delivery issues that arise.
* Engage internal customers to understand their needs and challenges and work with the plant management team to develop solutions.
* Ensure that material orders are captured, tracked and expedited, and that delivery times are clearly communicated to the customer.
* Ensure that shop floor schedules, shipping lists, and build paperwork are accurate and delivered timely.
* Support plant management in analyzing and controlling costs.

Qualifications and Skills Required

* Bachelor's degree required.
* 3-5 years of leadership experience.
* Manufacturing and/or construction experience is a plus.
* High energy, a positive attitude, and a team mentality.
* A self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems.
* Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Excellent problem analysis and critical thinking.
* Outstanding communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
* Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
